Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also features an automatic mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
In addition in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can leave it in place and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's costly. Its sheer number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its high-end price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the house. It was able to eliminate 98.4% debris on any type of floor and managed to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the water tank to use to mop and also dry mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. best robot vacuum cleaner is also important to remember that the mop pads, which are bought separately are required to be replaced periodically too.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a want than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning, making it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot, and it is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.
As with most robotic vacuums and mop combos like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do select this option, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaner of choice.
As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this could be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is complex, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've set up. The Qrevo did well in our tests, just as all Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.
The most obvious flaw with this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up", at the end of each session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
